The company has monitored sales of large size footwear over the last decade. In 2006 the most popular shoe size for Walktall customers was 14, but in recent years sales of size 15 shoes have caught up. Now for the first time, sales of size 15 shoes have taken the lead, outselling size 14 footwear.

“The question for us is: Will this trend continue?” Says Walktall Director, James Lockyer. “We monitor sales of different sizes closely so that we can buy in the right amount of stock in different styles to meet our customer’s needs, and we anticipate the trend towards sales of larger shoe sizes continuing for the foreseeable future.”
