The campaign will run in August and September and promotes the ease in using GolfNow to book tee times online, along with the great deals available at numerous golf courses on GolfNow in the UK. The advertisements will air during several golfing and other sporting telecasts in the coming weeks on BT Sport, Sky Sports, ITV4 and Eurosport networks. The spots will appear within additional, predominately male audience programming.
The collaboration between adconnection and GolfNow stems from GolfNow’s continued success as both a tee time distribution and golf course technology entity in the United States, along with adconnection’s successful track record on previous campaigns of similar nature.
“adconnection identified TV as the media of choice for this launch in the UK market due to the credibility and mass coverage it is able to provide to build fast and efficient brand awareness,” said Daniel Marshall, account manager at adconnection.
“Following careful analysis of the lifestyle habits of GolfNow’s target audience, we understand that by concentrating on the right sporting environments, such as golf, F1 and badminton, and following in-depth consumer research, GolfNow can achieve cut-through in an emerging market that reflects our audience’s viewing habits and their demanding and frantic schedule.”
GolfNow allows golfers to book and compare tee times within their local area across the rest of the UK and internationally. With their wide array of golf courses on their tee times platform, consumers can book tee times convenient to them whenever they like.
