Direct and digital agency LIDA @lidalondon has appointed multi-award winning Sven Kaifel as its new Head of Design. Cannes Lions Gold award-winning Kaifel is set to join the agency this week.
Reporting into LIDA’s Executive Creative Director, Nicky Bullard, Kaifel will be responsible for the agency’s entire design output across press, print DM, digital and social media for LIDA’s impressive client list that includes: O2, Boots, Virgin Holidays and Land Rover.

Boasting a wealth of experience having worked across a range of sectors including beauty, automotive, fashion, retail and finance. He joins LIDA from Communicator where, as senior designer, he led its design team accross high-profile brands such as brands such as Jack Daniels, Nike and Southern Comfort.
Prior to this, he held the position of Senior Designer at CMW London. Here he worked on clients such as Peugeot, Kellogg’s, M&S and Nivea to name a few. Before this, he worked at BBDO in Germany where due to his outstanding talent and tenacity, Kaifel was the youngest ever Head of Design in the BBDO network at the age of 23.
LIDA also welcomes back Joanne Olsen as Talent Development Director - a newly created role. As LIDA expands into international warters, Olsen will be responsible for attracting, developing and retaining the very best talent in the industry across all departments in the agency. Jo returns to LIDA after ten years in senior account handling roles in leading digital and direct agencies in London, most recently as Managing Partner at Proximity.
