Movers and Groovers : Former Yahoo director Sue Hunt joins Tremor Video to lead programmatic in Europe

Video ad technology company Tremor Video has appointed former Yahoo!, Google and AOL executive Sue Hunt as Head of Programmatic for Europe.

Hunt will be responsible for developing partnerships between Tremor Video and agency trading desks throughout the region to grow the adoption of the company’s programmatic products. Hunt has spent her entire career in digital media, beginning at Yahoo! and AOL – leading operations, planning and pricing – before moving to run DoubleClick’s rich media business after it was acquired by Google. She moved into the programmatic space in 2010, spending three years as the EMEA Director for Yahoo!’s Right Media ad exchange, and more recently, as the UK managing director for supply-side platform, Improve Digital.
Alex Macnamara, Tremor Video’s UK managing director, said: “Sue brings a rich and broad range of ad tech experience to our programmatic team, from sales to operations and agency to media seller. Her unique background encompasses multiple aspects of the programmatic ecosystem.”

Hunt will also help Tremor Video’s direct sales team to develop solutions that enable marketers to effectively and efficiently expand the reach of their marketing campaigns through programmatic buying.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Tremor Video at such an exciting time to spearhead their programmatic offering across the region,” said Hunt. “Tremor Video is very well positioned to deliver a first class programmatic platform and service to agencies and publishers, in what is one of the fastest growing segments of the industry.”

In another move, Tremor Video has promoted Alex Jakubczyk to Senior Manager, Marketing & Account Management to drive closer alignment between strategic activities across the US and UK.
