Family Playing Board Game At Home
The much anticipated Family Playtime blog brunch program for 2015 is here. Below are the details about the event which we have been crafting and refining for months. The countdown is now on!
#t2mfamilyplaytime will take place on the 10th October in London , The Lift, Angel/Islington, N1 9PW.
Our goal is to create a fun and memorable event chock full of great content, learning, networking and activities.
The event is open to a handpicked group of established #parentbloggers and their families with the focus on family playtime.
Family Playtime is all about how we make family life more fun and reduce the stress and worries that parents have that stops playtime happening.
Speaker sharing valuable information
The event will open with a guest speaker highlighting tops tips and tricks on creating natural play together whilst exploring how to communicate with kids in a language they understand that gets more positive results. (We all know how temper tantrums turns the most patient parent into not wanting to continue with any further play) Parents/Bloggers will share
stories on what they have done in their family to achieve successful playtime experiences.
The event will then be open for exploration where bloggers and families can meet the brands in the ‘show and tell’ area, attend‘experience’ sessions or jump into the ‘playtime zone’ with their kids.
Parents can leave kids to play in the kids zone where brands will be showcasing toys, tech and entertainment for kids to engage with and parents to learn about. Kids will share their stories with their mums/dads on what they loved most and why, giving great content to parents to re-share on-line.
Kids dressed in Halloween costumes
Any kids attending will be invited to dress up in a Halloween themed costume for a chance to win a prize plus they can listen to spooky tales with our storyteller.
Back to the stage and we will be tackling the issue of child safety from an online cyber bullying perspective to general safety precautions and measures that can be put in place. This will include live demonstrations/videos and potentially a real life case study/story. The floor will then open up to a Q&A session.
We will also be exploring how we can use gaming and tech to educate kids, showing the benefits and how examples of how kids learn from this interactive experience.
To help you make the most of your Pinterest/Twitter platforms we will have a guest speaker coming along to show you how tomake the most of your Twitter / Pinterest platform and get the best results.
Mummy blogger speech
The whole event is a great opportunity to connect with other bloggers, share tales, find people to collaborate with and share experiences in the chill out area whilst meeting brands, editors and other industry experts that you can build long term relationships with.
If all that wasn’t enough, we will have a range of pick and mix food for people to snack on and eat through the day with our food and drink sponsors. To keep up the energy for playtime we will have good wholesome food to indulge in.
Sharing up to the minute news on social platforms
In the experience zone their will be 3 select brands who will provide heightened, interactive experiences for you to engage with. The idea is that you get to be hands on with these products so you really understand how to use them.
In the Family Playzone you will bring the kids into have a once in a lifetime chance to engage in age appropriate games such a pillow fight, hide from the tickle monster, jumping rope, hot potato and more.
At the end of the day when everyone is exhausted we will give out our amazing goodie bags stuffed full of surprises and delights.
