Paralympic sport wins huge cash injection

A major cash injection will offer hundreds more visually impaired people across the country access to an exciting team sport.

Goalball UK, the governing body for goalball, has received a £250,000 grant from Sport England after it hit its three year participation target in just twelve months.

Goalball is the only Paralympic team game for partially sighted and blind people (for both men and women). Over the last 12 months the number of people playing the sport has doubled.

Creative Spark’s annual Little Print Shop of Horrors is set to reopen in time for this halloween. The shop has opened every halloween since 2011 and sells horror-themed limited edition prints to raise money for selected charities.

This year sees Creative Spark, a leading creative agency with offices in Manchester, London and Leeds, put their trademark twist on Disney and Hitchcock films.

This years theme is ‘666’.Creative Spark will be presenting 6 Alfred Hitchcock film prints, 6 of the best sellers from previous years and 6 Disney ’Happily Never After’ illustrations.

adconnection launches leading tee time booking engine GolfNow in UK TV campaign

adconnection is coordinating a strategic TV advertisement campaign in the UK on behalf of GolfNow, a leading tee time booking engine and golf course technology provider.

The campaign will run in August and September and promotes the ease in using GolfNow to book tee times online, along with the great deals available at numerous golf courses on GolfNow in the UK. The advertisements will air during several golfing and other sporting telecasts in the coming weeks on BT Sport, Sky Sports, ITV4 and Eurosport networks. The spots will appear within additional, predominately male audience programming.
