Email Campaign of the Month: Liquidline – August 2014

Hand-picked from the thousands of emails sent on e-shot™  the victorious Campaign of the Month is, as usual, a very deserving champion. Without any more waffle, let’s get down to business. The winner is Liquidline for their campaign, “Introducing Cafétouch”!

A huge round of applause is in order for this very attractive, inviting and effective email. As a coffee lover I was immediately drawn to the Cafétouch (but that’s not the only reason we’ve selected their email!)

Read on to learn exactly why their message has claimed our coveted prize.

Sent on July 17th, the email was introduced to inboxes with the enigmatic subject line “Exclusive, Innovative & Brand New...” which starts things off nicely.

Time and again, nothing works as well as an ambiguous and intriguing subject line, as long as the sender of the email is obvious.

Moving on from the subject line, Liquidline’s email is fully on-brand with their website and shares the same eye-catching colour scheme, clear layout and nice design.

The text to image ratio is perfect, meaning the message would work even if an email client wasn’t displaying the pictures. When images are displayed, the photographs compliment the email well. There isn’t too much text overcrowding the message and boring their subscribers, yet they aren’t fully relying on the visual aspect of the email either.

Throughout the message are several bold and inviting calls to action, including the great “watch our promotional video” or the prospect of getting a “FREE demo” to celebrate the Cafétouch launch. Have a look at the video below.

Finally, the message is boosted even further thanks to the navigation bar along the top of the email, again providing consistency with their website and adding another level of professionalism and class.

All in all, Liquidline have produced a worthy winner of August’s Campaign of the Month with nice design, eye-catching content and very well-placed calls to action.
