There’s no shortage of Yummy Mummys in Hollywood who have figured out celebrity plus motherhood plus a clever marketing campaign for a family-centric product can equal the beginnings of a business outside of Tinseltown that may have a longer shelf life than the average movie career. From the highfalutin recommendations of Gwyneth Paltrow on her website Goop ($900 throw anyone?) to the train wreck reality television franchise that is Tori Spelling’s life, it seems that virtually every actress in every strata of the entertainment business is developing their personal brand around their experiences as a mother.

And then there’s Jessica Alba.

What’s the difference between a picture of 11 female rowers pictured covering their breasts with life-jackets and a picture of 16 male rowers naked, their penises covered up by sitting on the shoulders of their fellow team-mates?

Both pictures were part of Warwick University’s much-famed rowing club’s charity calendars, designed to raise money through their provocatively cheeky images.

But when they were released within weeks of each other one was slated as ‘explicit porn’ and thrown off Facebook; the other was described as ‘gorgeous nakedness who make our ovaries explode.’ No prizes for guessing which way round.

Apps World Europe reveals keynote line-up that includes Google Glass Founder

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apps World Europe has announced the first of its keynote speakers for the show with a line-up that includes Babak Parvis, the creator of Google Glass and now vice president of Amazon. Parvis is one of a number of experts who will present keynote speeches at Apps World Europe, which will move for the first time to London’s Excel in November. 

The keynote speakers make up more than 200 speakers who will be presenting at the show which is due to attract more than 12,000 attendees for 2014.
